Harvington Hall

A stunning Location

Harvington is a unique house and a rare survivor of the Elizabethan age, and its untouched beauty is the perfect location for TV, film and photoshoots.

This is a house where time stands still, with its beautiful red brick building rising out of the 13th-century moat. Surrounded by fields and our resident ducks, Harvington is a romantic and picturesque location for pre-wedding or wedding shoots.

The Hall you see today was predominantly built during the 1580s and is famous for having the largest series of priest hides in England. Harvington may be small in comparison to a large country estate, but its authenticity makes it stand out over any other location of its kind.

We are happy to accommodate a recce or advise on the location, based on your brief prior to filming.

Availability & permissions

Due to the fabric of the building, there are usually charges for any filming and photo shoots. For more information on this please contact the Hall

The house and garden are available for filming outside of normal opening times. We may consider requests for filming during our opening times but this will be determined by the scale of filming required.

We welcome couples who wish to have their pre-wedding or wedding shoots at the Hall. Although wedding ceremonies aren’t available at the Hall, we know that many people would like the beautiful backdrop for their photographs. For photoshoots, Harvington’s Hall and grounds will be available during opening times with full access available. If you wish for access outside of opening times, this can be arranged but will be reflected in the cost of hire
